U13 Little League Tournament Team Tryouts 2020
BSA is proud to support the 2020 Brussels representative teams for the Little League World Series.
Tryouts for the U13 Little League Tournament Team is open to boys and girls ages 10, 11 and 12 years. Players must be born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2010 to qualify for the team.
Selected players will participate in several baseball tournaments and games before representing Brussels in the Belgium Little League Tournament. If Brussels wins this tournament, the team will then go on to represent Belgium in the Little League European Championships.
The dates and location for Tryouts are TBD. Once determined, you will receive an email with the details of the tryouts.
For insurance and security purposes, players must be registered before participating in the tryouts. If a player is not registered, he/she will not be permitted to participate.
Players do not have to attend all sessions, but it would be advantageous to attend as many sessions as possible so coaches can make a proper assessment of each players skills.
Please note: This is a selective team made up of players from BSA, Kangaroos, SHAPE, CYS and other school teams. Unfortunately, not all players who register will be chosen to make the team.
Cost
Registration prior to team selection is free. Those players who are selected will be invoiced €75 for insurance, registration and uniform expenses.
If the team goes on to represent Belgium in the Little League European Championship, additional expenses will be payable.
Calendar
The dates for the pre tournament games and the Belgium and European Championships are yet to be released.
